This is one of those pictures I look at and tend to go "I drew that?!" ^_^ I found a copy of the anime comic for the Bardock special and bought it on the spot. I've always really liked it; it just seems so... different to the other movies. I wanted to pin down some of the feeling I get when I watch or read it... and I ended up drawing this.

I actually drew all three characters on one page, then afterwards decided that there was too much emphasis on Gokuu and Freeza, so I had to go through and draw in the city behind them on computer. Not an easy thing to do; it's hard to get the lines the same darkness and width. Even with my pen and tablet it still took ages. ...I'd say it was worth it though.
