Clothing Guide
In comparison to some of the DBZ characters, Goten doesn't go through a huge number of clothes. Still, here are his costumes from the anime and movies. Oh, and please don't steal the pictures, they're fanart!

These are the first clothes you see Goten wearing, and he wears these clothes in the episodes before he trains with Gohan. They have the same sort of Chinese style that Chi-Chi's clothes have, and were asumably also made by Chi-Chi. The costume consists of a purple shirt and pants, with a green-lined blue vest and a white belt which is half hidden under the vest.

Goten's fighting gi. He wears this throughout the Buu saga, and in all of the movies. It's design is obviously based off Gokuu's fighting gi, but it has long sleeves a black belt, blue, leg-warmer style, socks and the same, black, slip on shoes from his last outfit.

Goten wears these clothes in the beginning of Movie 13 ("Ora ga Yaranakucha, Dare ga Yaru?" or "If I can't do it, then who can?"). They consist of a white singlet and blue/grey pants, tied with a mauve belt. Since Goten changes into his normal fighting gi in the later half of the movie, these are probably meant to be casual clothes. |

These are the clothes that seventeen year old Goten wears while training with Gokuu. It's interesting that Goten's name is written Western style as "Goten Son", rather that "Son Goten" as it's written in Japanese, with the surname first. Well... the Western style is incorporated randomly throughout almost everything Japanese, I guess it's not too strange. There are at least two other 'official' variations of these clothes. The first is identical except the shirt is white with dark blue sleeves (like this). The second only has "Goten" in red on the front rather than "Goten Son", the shirt is white with dark grey sleeves, and has green sneakers (like this).

This is the fighting gi seventeen year old Goten wears at the final tournament in DBZ. One again, they're a fair bit like Gokuu's, but there's a number of differences. First of all, there's no shirt, and the belt and wrist bands are black. The belt also ties in the middle and the vest is pretty long and reaches down to his hips. There's another version of these clothes where the gi is actually purple and there are leg-warmer style socks... ^_^ Doesn't look too bad though. I have a card of it here. |
