Manga Summaries
Manga 37, chapter 433, page 7 (I've seen the anime of this part, so I'll add in some bits that weren't written in the manga! They're the bits in blue.) The announcer tells the crowd that Goten, 7 years old, will be fighting Ikuse, 14 years old. Ikuse snorts, thinking that he'll easily beat this 'little brat'. Goten laughs, nervously. (Goten was *really* nervous when he went up to the platform. He gets up there and says, "Wa~h, so many people!") Up in the stand Chi-Chi cheers for Goten. The bully's mother, (who is also Ikuse's mother) yells out for him to not make a stupid mistake like his big brother did, she goes on to say he can't lose against a little kid. Bulma smirks at her saying that it looks like both of her sons are going to be beaten by their 'kids'. The mother replies that that was just some miracle and it won't happen again. Goten bows politely before the match begins. Ikose thinks the audience will adore his victory. Announcer, "Huh? That face... Son Goten........ I get it! He must be Son Gokuu's child! No doubt about it! He looks like he (Gokuu) did when he was a kid." (We get a flashback of chibi Goku at his first Budokai, he does the Kamehameha at Muten Roshi/Jackie Chun. Then you see Gokuu "I did so wi..." and then Gokuu collaspes leaving Goten standing in Gokuu's position. It looks kinda cool ^^) The announcer starts the match. Ikose pulls up his fists and taunts Goten. Ikose, "Take this! Satsujin
punch! (murderer punch)"
Ikose's mother, "Ohohohohoho! Ikose-chan's going to get serious now!" Ikose, "Ha~a," (punches continuously,
Goten stops each one easily with his hand)
The crowd stares in surprise.
Ikose's mother, "..................................."
Videl
(still in line), "A! Goten won the match! (I wanted to see it!) Isn't that
incredible?! Against a 14 year old!"
Goten and Trunks easily win their matches and come to face each other in the final match. (In the anime, you get to see Goten flick a fat boy out of the ring, and Trunks fighting a tall skinny guy who he kicks in the crotch. Ooooh, that's gotta hurt................) The Announcer tells the crowd that this is the final match and that the two competitors are close friends etc. Mr Satan
(lounging in his room with a coctail glass and smoking a cigar), "What?!
'Two really strong children'?"
Klilyn,
"This should be an interesting match!"
Announcer, "Please begin the final match!" Goten and Trunks bow and take stances. Mr Satan sees the Goten and Trunks, asking if they're the two strong kids he'd been told about. He looks at Goten and wonders where he'd seen that face before.... (he face vaults and realsises he looks like one of the fighters from the Cell game) Goten and Trunks charge towards each other, and clash with their forearms. They fight for a bit, then spin apart. Both charge again, this time into the air. Trunks punches Goten, Goten punches Trunks. They start dogding each others attacks, then fight head-on again. (Goten grabs Trunks in an arm lock, but Trunks breaks free) There's a flash and the two separate again. They smile. The audience stares in shock. Mr Satan' nose runs. Videl:

The audience
cheers, shouting things like, 'incredible' 'cool!' 'did they really just
fly then?' 'was that a trick?!'

is the end of the episodes I own, so no more extra bits for a while /..\)
Chapter 434, Page 22 Trunks:
"Not bad, you've improved since last time I saw you."
Trunks powers up two ki-blasts in each hand. Gohan and Klilyn freak, saying that if it Trunks' Ki-blast misses, it'll hit the audience. Gokuu tells them it'll be alright. Trunks throws his ki-blast at Goten. The announcer freaks. Goten jumps above it, and looks a bit confused. The blast continues towards the crowd, Trunks directs it upwards and it misses the stadium. Announcer (wipes him forehead): Phew, we're saved. Crowd: "What was that?!" "It looked like he made a rocket from his hands!" Mr Satan: "Those two......they're the same as back then.......it can't be...." Trunks:
"How was that?! Cool huh?!"
Trunks dodges easily, the announcer dives for cover. Goten's kamekameha rips a bit of the roof off the main building. Goku comments that Goten's control isn't too good. Goten: "Heheheh... I learnt that at home." <^^ Mr Satan: "I've got to run.... I've got to run!!! They're the ones from the fight with Cell!" Trunks says they should stop using Ki-blasts and Goten agrees. Trunks launches towards Goten yelling that he will win. Goten does the same. The two grab each other, and Trunks throws Goten into the air.
Vegeta: "Well then, it looks like Trunks has won." (he laughs) Trunks:
"Give in!"
Trunks:
"Did you forget that we're not supposed to go Super Saiyajin?!"
Gohan:
"Goten you idiot!"
Mr Satan freaks out, "..........Th...th...there's no doubt about it....! It's that guy's kid!" (There's
a splash page of Goten doing the Kamekameha)
Chapter 435, Page 35 Trunks:
"Heheh, Goten..."
The two fight again, this time with Trunks only using his right hand. Goten kicks Trunks across the cheek. Goten punches, and Trunks blocks. Goten punches Trunks in the face. Trunks backs off a little. Goten: "Heheh!" Trunks throws a ki-blast at Goten, who dodges it by flying into the sky. Goten stops, high above the Budokai. Trunks:
............What the hell's he doing?
Goten zooms head first towards Trunks. Trunks readies himself.
Trunks,
'Now!' He dives out of the way, yelling "Jibakushiro!" (Basicly, 'defeat
yourself!')
Trunks goes Super Saiyajin, jumps out of the way, and fires a Ki-blast at Goten. This hits Goten on the back and sends him out of the ring. Goten lands in the audience. "A!" Announcer:
Outside the ring! Trunks is the winner!!! He wins the championship! He
is the Boy's Budokai's champion!!!!"
Goten lands and peers at Trunks over the edge of the ring. Goten:
"Trunks-kun! That wasn't fair! You went Super Saiyajin and used your left
hand!! Cheater! Cheater!
Videl:
"..........................."
Goten
glares at Trunks. (he looks soooooo cute!)
The Announcer tells the audience that there will now be a 'special attraction'. The winner of the young boy's tournament, Trunks, will get to fight Mr Satan. Satan freaks, "What should I do?! I'll die (if I fight him)!" There's
a splash page of Goten glaring. ^_^ (He looks sooo cute!)
Chapter 436, Page 49 The Announcer asks if this is okay by Trunks. Trunks says he doesn't care. Mr Satan puts on his crowd-pleasing act, "Uooooooooou! I am the World's Champion (etc etc) Be prepared!" (Points at Trunks) (thinking) 'What should I do? What should I do?!' He hopes this dream will end quickly. Trunks glares at him, arms folded, 'This old guy's world champion.....? He must be strong, maybe even stronger than my dad.' Goten:
"Trunks-kun! Do your best--!!!"
Klilyn
comments that it looks like the match will end with a knock out, and they
should probably leave as they already know the outcome. Gokuu agrees.
Mr Satan makes a show of pulling off his cape and champion's belt, and tightening his fighting gi's belt. He makes battle cries and kick and punches the air to impress the crowd. Trunks:
'What the? That wasn't impressive at all! I get it! He mustn't be the champion....."
Trunks does some stretches, Satan panicks.
Announcer:
"Well then, now that they've introduced themselves, let's start the match!"
The two argue until the announcer asks if he wants to see the physician. Satan face vaults and is suddenly okay again. Mr Satan thinks about how this kid could spoil his name. He gets an idea. He tells The Announcer that it's a time-out. He tells Trunks that he'll let Trunks have the first punch, to his face, when the match starts. Satan asks if this is okay. Trunks says it's okay. Mr Satan asks the Announcer to start the match again, and says that Trunks wanted him to sign an autograph. The Announcer starts the match again. Mr Satan:
"Uooooou! Come at me!" Mr Satan makes a pose, leaning over so Trunks can
hit his cheek.
Trunks hits him 'gently' on the cheek. Mr Satan goes flying into the wall. O_O! Videl:
"Pa...Papa!"
Mr Satan shakily gets up. He pretends the whole thing was a joke, "I'm not strong! I'm a defeated old man!" The Announcer: "Outside the ring! Trunks wins the match!!" The audience laughs with Mr Satan. "Satan really is strong!" "That was great!" Mr Satan says he's going to rest in his room a while. Trunks: "............I don't understand...... he really must be strong......." Mr Satan
(lying sprawled on the floor of his room, clutching his face): "OWWWWWWW!
It hurts! It Hurts! I'm gonna diiiiiee! That shit-brat!"
Chapter 437, Page 22 (Gokuu, Klilyn, Piccolo, Vegeta and Android 18 head for the main area.) Trunks
peers around a corner, "Hey Goten! Take a look over there!"
Trunks
says the guy's a competitor in the preliminary rounds and they could use
him to get in.
Trunks
sneaks up on the guy, "Um..."
Trunks,
"Hey, help me get his clothes!" (draging him along the ground by the feet)
Goten,
"Um... Isn't this going to be too big?" (Goten and Trunks are puuling his
clothes off)
Goten's piggy-backing Trunks, who holds the clothes above his head, about to put it on them. Goten,
"This disguise isn't gonna work!"
They put the clothes on, with two holes for Goten to see out of. O_O Trunks,
"See? Surprising! Absolutely perfect!"
(Gokuu, Klilyn and Vegeta are consuming amazing amounts of food. (Android 18 and Piccolo look bored/disgusted) Gohan and Videl turn up, and Gohan settles down to eat too. Videl stares at how much they're eating. Gohan asks if Videl's on a diet as she didn't eat anything. The group notices two of the other competitors seem a little out of place. The short one says, "Good afternoon, you're Gokuu-san aren't you?" Gokuu asks why he knows his name. The shake hands. Gokuu looks confused, the short guy smirks. They leave. Piccolo wonders what that was about. Gokuu doesn't know.) Chapter 438, Page 80 (The group watches the two strangers leave. Piccolo says they definately weren't of Earth. Gokuu agrees. Videl asks Gohan what they were talking about, 'not of Earth'? Gohan sweatdrops and says they were a little weird. Videl agrees and adds that their face's were a weird colour. They wonder what their opponents will be like.) The announcer explains that everyone here has qualified and that everyone will pull a number from the box. Klilyn,
"Kami-sama, please let me pass the first match!"
Gokuu looks around at the competitors: The two weird guys from before... two more with M on their forehead then at (Goten and Trunks) "?" He wonders about his weird costume. The announcer
says the names will be in alphabetical order. First is... "Kira-san*.'
(*A play on Killer) Kira draws number 14.
Gohan, "Oh...with the guy from before..." Announcer,
"Android 18-senshu? What's that name...?"
Announcer,
"Shin-senshu."
Trunks,
"Hey Goten, what's this guy's name?
Announcer,
"Next is... Supopo Bitchi-senshu."
Announcer,
"Aren't you Mighty Mask-senshu? Right?"
Trunks,
"You IDIOT, that was embarrasing!! What we're you doing?!!"
Supopo
Bitchi draws number 6.
She asks the announcer when he father's going to draw. He say's he'll draw for Mr Satan. Gokuu
stares, "She's Mr Satan's daughter?!"
Punta draws number two. Klilyn brightens, saying he'll be against him in the first match. Punta teases the 'shrimp' thinking he'll win easily. Vegeta draws number 12. Gokuu looks at the board in surprise to find out he's fighting Vegeta in the first match. Everyone reacts with surprise. Vegeta smirks and thinks to himself about how he's waited so long for a re-match. Gokuu (smiling), "Vegeta, huh?" Trunks,
"Hey, our father's are fighting in the first match! Who do you think'll
win?"
The announcer calls Mighty Mask up to draw. Trunks draws number 13. The announcer wonder's what's up with him. Piccolo/Majunior draws 4. He looks shocked, realising he's against 'Shin'. The announcer draws the remaining number for Mr Satan, number 10. Klilyn,
(to Android 18, looking happy), "Hey! You're with Mr Satan!"
Yamu draws number 15. The announcer presents the board.

Chapter 439, Page 93 ((Goten
and Trunks don't come into the story until the final chapter, so I'll try
to make this brief)
Shin and Piccolo step onto the platform. A few people recognise Piccolo from the Cell game. Shin reads Piccolo's mind and responds to what Piccolo's thinking. Piccolo realises he must be a God and drops out of the match. Gokuu asks Piccolo why he'd done that, Piccolo says something about his opponent being a higher level. Klilyn says he must be joking...he's going to have to fight Shin next. Chapter 440, Page 107 Videl
and Supopo Bitchi prepare to fight. Back in the competitor's room, Piccolo
asks if Shin is the Dai Kaio. Kibitto says he is a Kaioshin. Piccolo can't
believe this, the Dai Kaio's higher than the four Kaio-samas, and the Kaioshin
are like the gods of the Kaios. Kaio-sama (in the other world or whatever)
looks completely freaked out and wonders why a Kaioshin would be on Earth.
Chapter 441, Page 121 Videl gets up, but Supopo kicks her away from the ring, so that she'll land out of bounds. Videl flies before she hits the ground, so she's still in. Gokuu tells Gohan that she should drop out, her opponent's not human. Videl gets beaten up a bit, then kicks Supopo across the face, twisting his head around 180 degrees and appearing to break his neck. He twists his head back into position. Videl gets beaten up some more, then decides to fly to get out of the way. Supopo Bitchi flys above her and blasts her to the ground. (Gohan's getting an-gry ^^) Supopo punches her to the edge of the ring. Chapter 442, Page 135 Videl gets bashed up some more. The audience thinks she's going to die. Gohan shouts out for her to give up. Videl says she will never give up. Supopo Bitchi beats her around some more, then attempts to crush her head. Gohan can't control his anger and goes SSJ. Yamu yells out to Supopo Bitchi to stop it and he does so. He drags Videl out of bounds. Gohan goes out of SSJ and takes Videl to the sickbay. Gokuu gets some senzu seeds from Karin-sama. Chapter 443, Page 148 Gohan gives a senzu to Videl. Gohan runs off for his match. Videl sits up, completely healed, giving Mr Satan and the doctor a heart attack. Gohan and Kibitto go up to the platform. Gohan's friends from school recognise him (Gohan forgot to put the scarf on his head again after going SSJ) and they shout out "Goodluck Gohan! Fight! Fight!" Gohan decides there's no point in hiding his identity anymore and takes off his sunglasses. The match begins. Kibitto tells Gohan to go Super Saiyajin. Piccolo calls out his name and nods for him to do what they say. Gohan worries about what this will to do to his school life. Piccolo explains that the Kaioshin are like the 'Gods of Gods'. Gokuu's shocked. Gohan begins to power up. Chapter 444, Page 163 The crowd gets restless. Chi-Chi tells them to shut up and the match is already incredible. Kaioshin says they will need to use Gohan. Gokuu gives him A Look. Kaioshin says it's okay. They won't take his life, only his energy. Gohan goes Super Saiyajin. Everyone apart from the Z-senshi stares in shock. Videl can't believe this. Gohan's friends figure that he's the Gold Haired Fighter. Supopo Bitchi and Yamu attack Gohan and stick a bottle like device into him, draining his energy. Kaioshin freezes Gohan, so that he won't fight back (and so that he will be able to follow the two to their leader). They fly off with the bottle leaving Gohan lying on the platform. Chapter 445, Page 177 Kaioshin flies off after them, followed by Piccolo, Gokuu, Vegeta and Klilyn (18 stayed for the money). Kibitto heals Gohan (he knows he can't heal him to full power).) Trunks:
"What happened? Goten's big brother was defeated? And my father and the
others flew off..."
Gohan gets up asking who they were. Kibitto asks if it's okay that he comes with them. He wants to tell him some things. Kibitto takes off. Videl asks if she can please come along too. She wants to know what's going on as well. Gohan says it's okay, but if anything dangerous happens she has to escape. Videl agrees and they follow Kibitto. Mr Satan gasps, "Videl's...flying?!" The attendant replies that they've all been flying... The group in the audience all ask what the HFIL's going on. The Announcer sweatdrops thinking the Budokai's ruined. (this
bit's hard to transtate, so this may not be accurate)
We swicth
to Kibitto who is telling the same story. Bibidi died, so they’d
thought they were safe. But Bibidi had a son who was as evil as himself.
This person is trying to resurect Buu from his father’s notes.

Goten:
A! Shi...shimata! (dammit)
Trunks
thinks that Goten's Totsugekki is aimed at being the final attack. He decides
that when Goten's close enough, he'll get out of the way (and Goten will
knock himself uncontious on the ground). Goten narrows in.
Videl
fights Supopo Bitchi and appears to be winning. But her challenger seems
to have unusual stamina and gets up after Gohan thinks the match is over.
Gokuu says her oponent is really strange. Videl gets bashed towards the
edge of the platform.
