Hands and Feet
Feet aren't quite as hard to draw as hands, but it's very easy to skip over drawing them, either by having your characters wearing shoes, or simply not drawing that far. Even if you don't think you're going to be drawing many pictures of people bare-footed, it's a good idea to understand how the foot moves. We can use the same sort of technique to draw feet as we used with hands. Start from the largest unchanging solid shape; from the heel to just before the base of the toes. Next add the two other basic parts of the foot, the ankle and the toes, in the manner shown above. Clean up and you're done. |
